Lee A. Petty – Owner / Broker

Lee A. Petty is the Founder, Broker, and Owner of Tamalpais Property Management, a full-service residential property management and leasing firm serving Marin County since 1996. With more than 30 years of experience in residential property management, leasing, and real estate investment, Lee has built a reputation for providing knowledgeable guidance, responsive service, and exceptional results for property owners throughout Marin County.

A Marin County native and graduate of Redwood High School (Class of 1985), Lee earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1990. He founded Tamalpais Property Management with a vision of providing personalized, hands-on property management services built on integrity, communication, and long-term client relationships.

As a California Licensed Real Estate Broker (DRE #01204996) and a Property Management Master (PMM) certified by the California Association of REALTORS®, Lee is committed to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory compliance. He remains personally involved in the management of his clients' properties, believing that successful property management is built on responsiveness, accountability, and attention to detail.

Lee specializes in the management and leasing of single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, and small- to mid-sized apartment buildings throughout Marin County. His hands-on approach includes strategic rental pricing, comprehensive tenant screening, proactive maintenance coordination, detailed property inspections, and transparent financial reporting designed to protect and maximize each client's investment.

KIANA L. PETTY - ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER & LEASING AGENT

Kiana L. Petty is a licensed California real estate professional, Assistant Property Manager, and Leasing Agent with Tamalpais Property Management. Working alongside her father, Founder and Broker Lee A. Petty, Kiana represents the second generation of the family business and is committed to delivering exceptional service to property owners and residents throughout Marin County. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, with concentrations in Finance and International Business, bringing a strong financial and analytical background to the management of residential investment properties.

Kiana plays an integral role in the company's day-to-day operations, assisting with residential property management, leasing, property showings, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, work order management, accounting support, and office administration. As a Leasing Agent, she works closely with prospective tenants throughout the application and leasing process, helping match qualified residents with quality homes while providing a professional and seamless leasing experience. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsive communication help ensure that every property is managed to the highest standards.

Kiana enjoys building positive relationships with both property owners and tenants while helping protect and maximize her clients' real estate investments. Whether coordinating repairs, conducting property showings, assisting with lease administration, or supporting financial and operational management, she approaches every responsibility with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

DEE MAROTTA - ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER & LEASING AGENT

Dee Marotta is a licensed California Real Estate Agent, Assistant Property Manager, and Leasing Agent with Tamalpais Property Management. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to property owners and residents throughout Marin County while helping clients protect and maximize the value of their real estate investments. With a professional, responsive, and detail-oriented approach, Dee plays an essential role in the day-to-day management and leasing of residential properties.

Working closely with property owners, tenants, vendors, and the management team, Dee coordinates maintenance requests, assists with tenant relations, oversees property operations, and ensures every property is managed efficiently and professionally. As a Leasing Agent, she conducts property showings, guides prospective tenants through the application and leasing process, and helps place qualified residents in well-maintained homes. Her strong communication skills and commitment to outstanding customer service contribute to successful leasing outcomes and long-term client satisfaction.
